Can you just imagine young children playing with these toys as someone reads them the classic story of The Wizard of Oz by Frank Baum? Sadly, it’s a little past that stage for my family. My daughter now teaches at a youth theatre and this spring they will be performing The Wizard of Oz musical. So I took the challenge to find a cute pattern of some of the characters and try to make them before the performance. These turned out sweeter than I could have ever imagined. Even more so in person than a picture could possibly show. The pattern was made by Ana Maria Craft. Nicely written but more of an intermediate level for someone with a bit of experience with details and assembly. I enjoyed making these and will be making more.
